In the last two days FnaticMSI have announced the retirement of two of their key players Aidar "Aidar" Aringazin and Rene "Kebap" Werner.
It is with great regret to announce that I have retired from DotA but I feel the that my studies at school are more important to me now, despite my huge amount of love for the game. I had a great time with the team but my education is my foremost priority right now. I would like to thank Fnatic, MSI, SteelSeries, Bigfoot Networks, BestPoker and UGAME for their support.

MYM have announced a few days ago that their DotA team is set to return in less than 8 days; there are already many rumors about who is going to be leading the team and possible players.
Ex-MYM team includes big names such as Mealk, Mania, Fear, Merlene, Loda, H4nn1, Pusher, Slahser, Levent, Akke and many others.
It is interesting to note that most of these players are currently playing for other teams such as Ravens, EG, Fnatic etc.

Buffmeplz has announced on his blog that the new AI map is close to release; He has also announced that the new AI map will only be compatible with WC3 v1.23 meaning that it will not work with v1.24.

Some heroes have been disabled in certain modes due to the fact that they cause the game to crash; e.g. Dazzle has been disabled in -dm mode.
For more information on the new AI map, subscribe to this blog as it will be updated as soon as the map is released.
Blizzard has announced the official release of the new patch v1.24 on their website a few days ago, many users on Garena have already made the switch especially in European and Singapore rooms.
